"Sticker Shock" Workshop

  • Super One Foods - Iron Mountain 1118 South Stephenson Avenue Iron Mountain, MI, 49801 United States (map)

April marks Alcohol Awareness Month! Stand with fellow students from the Dickinson County area to increase awareness about the risks associated with providing alcohol to minors. As part of our community involvement, The Cure™ will team up with the Dickinson Iron CTC at Super One Foods on Friday, April 19th, from 3:30-4:30pm. We'll be affixing stickers on alcohol products to remind adults of the dangers and legal prohibitions against supplying alcohol to minors. Click here to register for this workshop.

*All workshops at The Cure™ are free and open for students ages 11-24. Must be registered to attend.

Engaging in acts of sharing, serving others, and active listening has profound positive effects on emotional health. When we share, whether it's our time, thoughts, or resources, we foster a sense of connection and community, elevating our mood and creating a supportive environment. This workshop is an emotional workshop aimed toward sharing the negative effects of providing minors with alcohol.
